the ryokan exceeded my expectations. beautiful, modern rooms with traditional touches. attentive staff and an incredible onsen experience. can't wait to return in a few years.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the fantastic deluxe room, spacious and clean with comfy floor mattresses. The separate toilet with lots of functions and the spacious shower and bath room with two sinks were a great plus. The highlight was the amazing onsen with a sauna and four different baths, including one outdoors on the roof. a perfect onsen experience at an affordable price.

Felt special, no complaints.

The hotel had amazing hot springs, with three different hot spas and a cool water spa. It was never too crowded, and the spas were very clean. the hotel offered fantastic customer service and the restaurant served tasty keiseki. The hotel's location was also convenient, being only a 10-minute walk from the train station.

The hotel was situated in a fairly quiet neighbourhood with not much to do in the immediate vicinity. , the JR line near the hotel was often crowded during peak hours, which made transferring at Kyoto station a bit of a hassle.

I loved the excellent service attitude which made me feel at home. The onsen was fantastic with various baths and sauna available, meticulously clean and well-maintained. The hotel facilities were impressive with beautiful tea rooms, a top-notch restaurant, and massage services. The staff was dressed traditionally in yukatas, which added to the traditional Japanese ambiance of the hotel.

Everything was spot on.
